An aspiring actor is abducted by a filmmaker determined to create his ultimate masterpiece. Chained inside the basement of an abandoned cinema in Amsterdam, Ciaron is forced to rehearse alongside another captive and surrender himself to the role of a lifetime. As performance turns into torture and the camera keeps rolling, he discovers that, for this director, true art demands a very real sacrifice.
